
Laurie Pepin
Laurie is a recently retired physical therapist, lymphedema therapist, and founder of the Lymphedema Program and Oncology Rehabilitation program at Palo Alto Medical Foundation in Sunnyvale, Ca. She received her physical therapy degree from Simmons College in Boston, and received her initial Lymphedema Certification through Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy. She has also completed additional training for Head and Neck Lymphedema through Klose Training Lymphedema Certification, and as a Breast Cancer Rehabilitation Specialist from PORI (Physiological Oncology Rehabilitation Institute). Most recently, she was on the faculty of the Women’s Health Residency program through Agile Physical therapy, and remains a member of both the National Lymphedema Network and the Oncology section of the APTA (American Physical Therapy Association).
Laurie has over 40 years of experience in various specialty areas that include cancer care, lymphedema, orthopedics, neurology and vestibular care. She is known for being passionate about educating both patients as well as her fellow physical therapy interns and colleagues. She is very excited to be volunteering her services and bringing her expertise and practical hands-on teaching to a women who may not have access to a physical therapist in their home town.
