Disha Gupta

Disha is the Founder and Executive Director of womens-health.ai, a global initiative working to expand access to breast cancer care. She develops advanced diagnostic tools and directs an international team advancing breast cancer detection, education, and survivorship support globally.

Her work began with a digital tool to assess eligibility for hereditary breast cancer screening, followed by an AI-driven app designed to facilitate early detection. Under Disha's leadership, Womens-Health.AI has provided free, technology-enabled resources to over 400,000 women worldwide, reaching communities often excluded from traditional care.

A 2024 Rise Global Fellow—an honor awarded to fewer than 0.1% of applicants—Disha combines technical expertise with a global perspective on health equity. Beyond womens-health.ai, she co-founded the STEM4All Silicon Valley branch of StemE, expanding STEM access for underserved students, and serves as Editor-in-Chief of Humans of Harker, guiding a team of over 80 reporters in producing an award-winning publication.
