Cindy Carter

Cindy Carter is the Director of Rehabilitation at a Sub-Acute facility in Silicon Valley and leads a team of physical, occupational and speech therapists. Cindy is a PT with over 30 years of experience and is passionate about regaining mobility and function for her patients. Cindy studied physiology at UC Davis before attending Samuel Merritt College’s PT program.

 

Cindy is an educator at the clinic as well as the community.  She created a continuing education course at Samuel Merritt University training PT students in generational belief systems and their impact on care delivery. Cindy also spoke at a Stanford’s Aging Adult Services seminar and shared evidence-based approaches to help seniors successfully age in place.

 

Cindy enjoys the interdisciplinary team approach to wellness. She collaborates weekly with Stanford, Palo Medical Medical Foundation and Kaiser Permanente physicians to facilitate the highest quality of life for her patients;
